MOBILIZE

Mobilizing churches to impact lostness

TFBA opens the door for your church to be strategically mobilized to fulfill the Great Commission and demonstrate the  Great Commandment in you community and across the globe:

          Mobilized for life

          Local Mission projects

          Regional mission partnerships

          Global mission opportunities

By partnering with TFBA, your church will be "on mission" with gospel-centered, Kingdom focused churches across the High Country.

Low Contact/No Contact Mission and Service Ideas

The past year has been a difficult time to do mission and service projects.  The presence of COVID has made reaching out to people a much more complicated process than it ever has been before. But these restrictions and difficulties have not changed our mandate to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community; and even though more and more people are being vaccinated, and we are beginning to see the easing of some restrictions, we still are not yet back to what most of us would consider "normal".

Because of this, we have developed a list of low contact/no contact ideas for mission and service projects for our churches.  These are ideas that you can use or adapt to continue to minister to people locally, while still meeting current guidelines and restrictions, and respecting the potential concerns of both your church members, and the people in your community to whom you wish to minister. If your church is doing something we have not thought of, or you have ideas other churches might be able to implement, please let us know and we will add them to the list.

Appalachian Christmas Outreach Update

We collected 119 backpacks from our Association churches.   Paired with the backpacks left from last year and ones picked up from Shelby Mission Camp, Pleasant Grove delivered and distributed 450 backpacks, 20 diaper bags and 10 handmade quilts in Logan, West Virginia in partnership with Pastor John Godby, and Logan High School Prayer Club December 12, 2020.   All backpacks, diaper bags, and quilts were distributed.   The distribution event was well organized and those receiving the backpacks were very appreciative.
